LUMIÈRE

Intro

Lumière Home Interiors is a furniture e-commerce concept made to bring warmth, style, and balance to online shopping. I wanted to design something that feels calm yet refined — like stepping into a cozy, modern showroom. As the UX/UI Designer and Visual Researcher, I handled everything from research and structure to visual direction and prototyping in Figma. This project shows how I use simplicity, empathy, and detail to make digital spaces feel as inviting as real ones.

Challenge

Most furniture platforms feel busy and impersonal — too many visuals, too little emotion. The challenge was to design an e-commerce experience that feels like a high-end showroom: minimal, emotional, and warm. My goal was to make it easy for users to explore, connect with products, and trust what they see, without feeling overwhelmed.

Research

I analyzed brands like IKEA, Article, and Made.com to understand what makes shopping experiences feel trustworthy and relaxing. The main insight? People want space — literally and visually. They want room to breathe, browse, and imagine the products in their homes. That’s why I built Lumière around calm layouts, large imagery, and soft tones that guide users instead of rushing them.

Design

The design centered on balance — between minimalism and emotion. I used soft beige and off-white tones with gentle shadows to create warmth. Playfair Display added a touch of elegance, while Poppins kept everything modern and readable. Each section was carefully structured to feel smooth and intentional, like a quiet walk through a curated space. Every click and hover was designed to feel light and meaningful.

Final Product

The finished interface feels airy, modern, and human. Product cards are simple, details are clear, and navigation feels effortless. From the typography to the animations, everything aims to create trust and comfort. Lumière became more than just an e-commerce design — it’s a reflection of how digital spaces can carry emotion when treated with care.

Outcome

Lumière taught me how much emotion can live inside simplicity. The final prototype feels elegant, functional, and timeless — proof that clarity and warmth can exist side by side. See the full process on Behance.
